New work for Cbeebies!

I've just finished a HUGE job for Cbeebies, designing the makeup for the 20 cast members for their Christmas Panto. It was performed last weekend at The Lowry Theatre and will be on TV around Christmas time. It was such an amazing project to work on with my four fabulous assistants Carly, Claire, Nicky & Holly xxx

BBC Sport

I've been really pleased to start my new role working on the wonderful team of presenters for BBC Sport in Manchesters Media City! I love television work as well as fashion shoots so doing both is keeping my work varied and exciting!

Swashbuckle series 2

After three amazing weeks filming for Cbeebies I'm hanging up my eye patch for another year. This year my team grew to four, with me taking on a trainee for each week - all from my three day makeup courses and the girls loved it! Thank you to the production, cast and crew for making it a truly amazing series!

Best of the BBs!

Ive just recently road tested the new Estée Lauder All Day Glow BB cream and thought id share my review with you!

I'm a big fan of natural skin but I have imperfections on my cheeks which makes wearing BBs difficult as I don't get the coverage. All Day Glow has a lovely lightweight feel and shimmery glow but also covers where needed (dab a bit more on in those areas) and lasts all day. Being a fan of Double Wear Light, I've changed to this for summer as it also has an SPF of 30.

New SS14 shoot

Some of my new fashion work was featured in the press this week, shot by Rob Rusling with model beauty Hannah Janes. For this SS14 look I used Shy Girl lipstick by Mac for a peachy-pop and a big black liquid flick for a bit of retro cool on the eyes xx

I had the pleasure of doing makeup and hair on lil ray of sunshine and model Cheryl Cunn today. Makeup was fresh and natural for spring with tousled hair. Achieve this hair with Bumble & Bunble volume mouse, a wide barrel tong and lots of Fudge Sea Salt texture spray...

Little ones

Shooting kids for a large retailer today, my product picks were pretty simple. Kids don't need much and the look was cool and fun rather than made-up dollys. 

I lightly tonged hair, added a touch of concealer if needed (Mac select cover), clear gloss (Elizabeth Arden 8hr Cream) and a rosy glow (Mac Fleur Power).
